CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, and Companions provide temporary, permanent, part-time and full-time services to people who need help with the activities of daily living. This includes people recovering from surgery, those with chronic conditions and/or the elderly or infirm. A Nanny4granny can live-in or live-out and is qualified to provide the appropriate level of non-medical care.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE :

Providing Companionship

• Daily, friendly conversation and emotional support
• Helping client keep in contact with friends and family
• Accompanying client to medical appointments, recreational outings and/or social events

Daily Assistance

• Helping maintain an independent lifestyle
• Organization of household
• Assisting with grooming and bathing as needed
• Planning and preparation of healthy meals
• Assisting with mobility as required
• Reminders to take medication
• Organizing and reading mail
• Assisting with correspondence and making phone calls
• Light housekeeping
• Assisting with petcare
• Monitoring household supplies, repairs and maintenance
• Communication with other caregivers as needed

Running Errands

• Grocery shopping
• Personal shopping
• Picking up prescriptions
