A family in Rye, NY, is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) for weekend care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with special needs and be comfortable providing care in a loving, structured home environment.
📍 Location: Rye, NY
💰 Compensation: $25-$30 per hour
🗓 Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM (flexible) plus 16 overnights.
🏡 Live-out, with separate room & bathroom provided when staying overnight
Responsibilities:
🦽 Provide personal care and assistance for an adult man with special needs
🏡 Create a safe, structured, and comfortable home environment
🧺 Assist with laundry & light household tasks
🕒 Stay late on Saturdays and some Sundays with advance notice
Requirements:
✔️ Minimum 3 years of recent, relevant experience
✔️ Three stellar references
✔️ CPR certification or willingness to obtain
✔️ Authorized to work in the U.S.
✔️ Clean driving record
✔️ Special needs experience required
✔️ Bachelor’s degree preferred
✔️ Comfortable with a cat (no allergies or fear)
✔️ Ability to stay overnight on weekends when needed
