Part-Time Nanny & Cook – Scarsdale, NY
A young family in Scarsdale, NY, is seeking a responsible and reliable part-time nanny & cook to assist with household tasks and some childcare for their two young children (ages 2 years and 10 months) who are in daycare.
About the Family:
We are a loving and close-knit family of 6! Our first “children” were 2 rescue dogs, and then we had our girls, who are almost 3 and almost 1. After being out of the area for some time an opportunity is bringing us back to Connecticut, and we are so excited to be closer to all our family and friends. We are looking for a kind, proactive, and loving person to help ease this transition as we settle into our new lives!
📍 Location: Scarsdale, NY
⏰ Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1 PM – 6 PM (some flexibility)
💰 Compensation: $30-$40 per hour
📅 Start Date: March 31, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
👶 Pick up children from daycare and provide care until parents finish work
🍽 Grocery shopping & meal prep (healthy, family-friendly dinners)
🏡 Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying, laundry, organization)
🚗 Drive as needed for errands and pickups
💙 Engage with children in age-appropriate activities
Qualifications:
✔️ 3+ years of experience caring for toddlers
✔️ Strong cooking skills (family-style meals)
✔️ Reliable, organized, and comfortable managing household tasks
✔️ Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
✔️ CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
✔️ 3 stellar references (to be vetted)
