Overview: A lovely family in Westport, CT, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-In Nanny/Household Manager to join their busy home. This active family has two preteens and a large dog. The position requires someone who is organized, proactive, and capable of managing childcare and household tasks. There is a housekeeper on staff who works three full days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare healthy, nutritious meals for the family
- Manage light housekeeping tasks
- Handle children’s laundry and light ironing
- Grocery shopping and running errands
- Provide care for the family’s large dog
- Some travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree required)
- Fluent in English
- 3-5 years of recent experience as a nanny or household manager
- Experience with preteens
- Minimum of 1 year of live-in experience
- Strong knowledge of healthy cooking
- Must be a strong swimmer
- Excellent driving record
- Comfortable working with a large dog
- US Passport for travel
Compensation:
- Competitive salary: $85,500 – $99,500 (based on experience)
