Job Overview:
A low-key, very kind professional couple in Old Greenwich, CT, seeks a highly qualified Nanny-Personal Assistant-Household Manager to support their family and household. The role includes managing daily activities for two boys (ages 9 and 10), but while the kids are at school there will be personal assistant duties and household management.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is warm, organized, and has a college degree. This job can be FT for an academically skilled candidate (especially in math) with a strong childcare and household support background. Cooking simple nutritious dinners or following a recipe is required. Organization skills and juggling a busy family calendar is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare & Academic Support:
- Provide after-school care for two boys, ages 9 and 10 (one child has a nut allergy, ADHD, and occasional anxiety).
- Supervise extracurricular activities and playtime.
- Promote emotional well-being and positive behavior.
- Ideally assist with homework, with a focus on advanced math tutoring.
- Household Management:
- Handle light housekeeping tasks (e.g., tidying, organizing).
- Run errands, including grocery shopping and appointments.
- Oversee household needs and coordinate with a housekeeper (on staff 2x weekly).
- Personal Assistant Duties:
- Support family schedules, manage calendars, and organize daily tasks.
- Assist with travel planning and packing.
- Cooking & Meal Preparation:
- Prepare family dinners, focusing on healthy, family-friendly meals.
- Assist in meal planning and grocery shopping.
- Competent cook and embraces nutrition.
- Driving:
- Safely transport children to and from school, activities, and appointments.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a nanny, governess, and/or household manager.
- Skills & Qualities:
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proactive, self-motivated, efficient, and adaptable to family needs.
- Warm, calm, and engaging personality.
- Competent cook who embraces nutrition.
- Exceptional tutoring skills in advanced math.
- Strong swimmer (safety-conscious around water).
- Other Requirements:
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel occasionally with the family.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $40–$50/hour, commensurate with experience.
