Nanny/Household Manager Needed in Darien, CT: 3 young kids (5.5 years, 3 years, & 5 months.) The oldest child has mild ASD. M-F 8:30 am-5:30 pm.
Position: Full-Time Nanny/Household Manager
Location: Darien, CT
Start Date: Early January
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Compensation: $35 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Overview:
A busy, safety-conscious family in Darien seeks a nurturing, experienced full-time nanny to care for three young children, including an infant and a school-aged child with special needs. The ideal candidate will be warm, athletic, creative, reliable, and passionate about child development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care for the children, including engaging with them through creative and educational activities.
- Support the school-aged child with mild autism in daily routines and play.
- Care for the infant, ensuring all developmental milestones are met.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the children, including tidying play areas, preparing snacks/meals, and children’s laundry.
- Foster a fun, active environment by incorporating art, music, and athletic activities.
- Safely drive the children to activities or appointments, using the family car provided.
- Provide pet-friendly care as the family has a large, sweet dog.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent, relevant experience working with children, including infants and special needs.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
- Strong swimmer and comfortable supervising children in and around water.
- Musical, artistic, and/or creative talents highly valued.
- Exceptional references (3 required).
- Must be proactive, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
